Discovering KUNDALINI YOGA
Most people I meet who have discovered Kundalini Yoga have a story. Here is mine ...
The promise of a sound bath delivered me to my first Kundalini Yoga class in the summer of 2015 in Oakland, California. The power I felt in my body practicing Breath of Fire and chanting mantras, completely took me by surprise. The gong bath was otherworldly as it gently dissolved my concerns before shattering something within me in a really good way. This was like no other yoga or meditation I’d experienced and it impacted me deeply.
Several months later, the adoption of a peace meditation meetup led me to a Kundalini Yoga studio in Houston. I was blessed to find a wonderful teacher, Saati and I began attending classes regularly. As the practices continued to benefit and expand me, I continued to delve into the myriad of teachings shared by Yogi Bhajan during his 36 years spent in the USA before his death in 2004.
When teacher training was offered, I signed up without hesitation and have since been inspired to continue to study. I thoroughly enjoy teaching as In every class I witness these practices working with elegance and precision to heal and uplift anyone seeking positive change.
